"I didn't trade Trace the lamb for the pig ear. I like looking at my lamb. Mom says it's better than television."

"I like watchin' her play."

 "She runs . . . "

". . . and she bounces."

"Trace likes watchin' her too, but I don't think it's the same. He says he'll trade me a pig ear, a Milk Bone, aaaand his stuffed chipmunk for her."

"No deal."

"Trace's chipmunk doesn't even have a tail!"

Oooooh! So cute! I had one Christmas eve - Santa Paws came early. Makes 7 in two weeks. Pasture popcorn!

TOO CUTE!! Briar knows the pig ear, Milkbone and the chipmunk won't last as long as the lamb. NOT A GOOD TRADE!! LOL

Does Briar get to go out with the new lamb with supervision? Beautiful baby and attentive momma---just what the rancher loves to see. :)

Nope! The new baby belongs to Rasta The Nasty. Rasta hates Briar and is mean to her on an average day. Give her a baby and she would certainly undermine Briar's confidence. So until the baby is up in age some, Briar has to stay on the other side of the fence.
