Woman Logic 101 - Woman sees hideously beautiful boots. (Ugly but beautiful in an Ed Hardy sort of way) And THAT's how these Hideously Beautiful Boots (that will NEVER step in horse/cow/sheep poop) came to be in my closet! Are they not delightfully ugly yet, adorable? Other Half took one look at them and groaned. But since he's seen me linger over these boots MANY times before, he knew that he was powerless before the irresistible attraction of Hideously Beautiful Boots!

First of all, Best Wishes on your upcoming marriage. I think you have planned the ideal wedding. As for the boots... they are the most perfect "go to meetin'... I mean "wedding" boots I have ever seen How could you NOT buy them? You couldn't have designed better boots to be married in. Make sure we see pictures of the big day.

I LOVE them! They are so soft! And the design is not just painted on, it's actually different layers of leather and stitching. Lots of detailed work. They really are a work of art. He is ho-hum about them, but I just LOVE them! They speak to the "girl" in me!

I've always thought the beautiful stitching on the neck of the boots was wasted--the jeans always cover it up.

I sooo can relate. I too have a pair of hediously beautiful (to me) boots. They are bright red and I LOVE them!! My husband like yours just sighed when I got them. He will now grudgingly admit they are not too bad now :-)

Hearts (anything with hearts I love!!!), peace and angel wings...how could you go wrong wearing these. You will feel special everytime you put them on.
Just don't let Blue Heeler taste them. :-)

For some reason, my favorite part of the boots is the blue stitching outlining the hearts. :)
Congrats!

That does it. Must tell spouse we're up for another wedding (we've had three, long story). As soon as I find a pair of these hideously beautiful boots. LOVE them. After wedding, I'd have to wear them every day. Have. To.
Story is perfect!
Best wishes on a wonderful wedding!

Came to visit from Jane's "Literary Horse." Though I'm not a big "cowboy boot" fan (aka "pointy-toed sh*t-kickers"), I gotta admit those are pretty nice!
I also love your blog! I'm home on medical leave right now, so have spent the last few days going back to the beginning. Quite a ride! I think I could live without the goats (they're so stupid they're smart...Or is it that they're so smart, they're stupid?), but all the rest of your critters are great! Love Brier, and the rest of the pack, and sweet sheep babies, and lovely horses, and gorgeous calico kitties.

Sorry you're out on medical leave, but glad you have the time to join us! I've never been a big pointy-toe boot person either. These don't have that "roach-killer" look, so they're okay! I have finally switched from goats to sheep. Goats do seem to have more personality, but the sheep are so much easier to handle. And when you're as busy as we are, ease of handling is better than personality!
